With a prime focus on children of grades 6th to 9th, we aim to provide information regarding Snakes, First Aid, basic Medical Information, Antibiotics, and the importance of Health and Sanitation.

A lot of people have absolutely no knowledge regarding the recognition and treatment of snake bites which leads to much panic and loss of life. We wish to rectify this and will hold sessions on Snakes 101 in schools to spread awareness this essential and important topic.

Basic First Aid information is limited to family, as this is no longer a public skills taught to everyone. In actuality, it is crucial to be aware of this expertise as they not only save others', but also your own life. Unfortunately, their is no source which provides a complete set of these skills. We will fill this lacuna and provide this expertise to children in the hope that children will be able to protect themselves and their peers better in the future. In lieu of the same we will be teaching CPR, the Heimlich Manoeuvre, making a Tourniquet, recognising a Stroke and emergency treatment of Burns.

Importance of health is another major topic we will be covering. Many children are not aware of their blood groups, the importance of sanitation, why they need to complete antibiotic courses and that consulting a chemist cannot replace the accuracy and appropriate treatment achieved by a doctor's diagnosis. In today's society, where issues such as Antibiotic Resistance are on the rise and first line of defence medications are becoming obsolete, the youth needs to be aware of the basics to not only combat these issues but also restrict their spread.
